My journey as an artist has only recently become one of conscious intention. I am still learning to understand myself, the world around me, and deliberately articulate what I feel through my art. I've been deeply rooted in music and art since a child. Some of my earliest memories are of being in art classes and piano lessons. Growing up I loved photography, playing musical instruments, and always wanted to be an animator when I grew up. I started taking film classes in middle school and continued throughout high school, ultimately studying IB Film and then continuing my studies at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts where I earned a degree in Visual Media Art.
My most recent project Passing Infinity is an experimental film exploring the tension between the beauty and fleeting nature of time. It was inspired by my fascination of how we move through life, seeing how the most beautiful blessings and moments we share cannot be controlled, but only received.
I’m currently developing my debut novel Adagio, a story of faithfulness and the cost of staying true in a world that gives you every reason to concede. It's a story that was put on my heart to tell, and I truly look forward to sharing it, especially given the current times.
Being a part of the younger generation in America, I see men being taught conquest is strength and love is weakness and women being told beauty is leverage and purity is captivity. Our culture has been built on counterfeit intimacy and calling it freedom, and feeling underneath it profoundly alone. My work exists to inspire others to look inward, see more deeply, and seek to live in truth and love.
