The Art of Rreflection: Art Book

In 2020, my father suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. In the grief and transformation that followed, I created four art series. Hayati, Kingdoms, Passages, and Unmet Arctic. Each one maps a facet of my soul's journey: a parable of sacrificial love and responsibility, the struggle and beauty of becoming, a meditation on transition and emergence, and the endurance between ascension and disconnection.

My fine art pieces from these series live as limited editions available on my website, but the stories, the self-reflections, and the philosophy underneath all four series were never meant to stay that rare. I want them in the hands of everyone I love, and everyone who's looking for the same things I am: beauty, truth, stillness, and love.

That's what this book is. I'm raising $10,000 to design and print a limited-edition art book. The complete four series, stills from my film Passing Infinity, and personal writings I've never shared publicly. It's the most accessible way into this body of work, and the most intimate. A book meant to be lived with and to offer a point of discussion and presence in conversation.

You've known me through this season, maybe since before my father's stroke, maybe through every version of this work since. You've watched what this cost and what it became. This book is the proof that something real came out of something hard. I want you to be part of how it's made, not just see it once it's finished.

In a world that often measures success by speed and conquest, this book asks us to slow down, look inward, and remember what's real. This is the next chapter of the Art of Reflection movement, and I'd be honored to have you with me as it becomes something you can hold.

With gratitude,
William

Adagio

What does it cost to stay true in a world designed to make you concede?

Adagio explores what it is like sitting in the uncertainty of a future you cannot see and cannot force. Trusting that what was placed on your heart was placed there for a reason, and that the arrival will come.
